What happens to what you share with Mira.

Five plain-English promises, written to match exactly how Mira works today. We’ll update this page whenever that changes.

  1. 01

    Kept on your device

Your conversations, mood check-ins and journal are stored in this browser on your device, not on our servers. Mira doesn't have accounts yet.

  2. 02

Sent only to write a reply

When you send a message, the recent conversation goes securely to our AI provider, Anthropic, in the United States, so Mira can write her reply. Email addresses, phone numbers and similar details are replaced before anything leaves your device. We don't store your messages.

  3. 03

No advertising, and we don't sell your data

We don't show ads, we don't use what you share to target you, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

  4. 04

    Not used to train AI

Mira doesn't use your conversations to train AI models. Before launch, we're putting contract terms in place with our AI provider to the same effect, and we'll confirm it here once they're signed.

  5. 05

    Yours to delete

Delete everything Mira has stored on this device at any time, from the You screen in the app. Unless you choose to keep your conversation, it's cleared when you close the tab.

Early-access sign-ups

If you join early access, we keep your email address, the product you chose and when you agreed, in private storage in Dublin. We use it only to tell you when your place is ready.

The detail is in our draft privacy policy, which is pending legal review. We publish specific technical and compliance claims only once they are implemented and independently verified. Questions about your data? Email hello@mira.ie.
